Maybe President Barack Obama Can Walk On Water

He’s a rock star. He’s a celebrity. Many things were said about Barack Obama during the 2008 presidential race. He was mocked by critics with spoofs of him walking on water. Well, I like the metaphor. Not to elevate him to Jesus. As a Christian, I know that would be sacrilegious. But, as a metaphor, I like it because it is a powerful image. Much to the astonishment of his critics and supporters, President Obama has accomplished things that no other human has.
Democratic and republican presidents and congresses have been trying to get universal health care passed for over fifty years. Now, I am not talking about whether or not you like the legislation that was passed. The point is that President Obama got it done. When no other human president had, he made through all the political landmines. We are not going to mention that little Osama Bin Laden thing. The United States is over 200 years old and this is its first African American who ran in 50 states and won the presidency. Plus, against all human comprehension, he did it with his legal name. Yes, the name on his birth certificate – Barack Hussein Obama. President Barack Obama is intellectually powerful, prudent, and blessed.
Michelle loves him and is in love with him. And she is his wife, not some mistress, honey on the side, or baby mama! He cherishes his children and they respect and adore him. This man is rich beyond human measure.
He also shows superhuman restraint. Many a day goes by when he does not strike back. I know some of you may say he does strike back - but not driven by ego. At some point, President Barack Obama has to push back to keep from becoming ‘swift boated’ like John Kerry. So, many times he has denied the human tendency to tell a person where they can go. Come on guys! Birth certificate? Really!
How many of us have mastered that trait of controlling our tongues? How many of us would go through the trouble of having a lawyer get special permission to release our long form birth certificates because Americans were really starting to question his birth? How many of you would have been able to hold your cool after humbling yourself and showing ID while you were the president of the United States? Then to add insult to injury, President Obama was blamed for the whole fiasco for not having shown it sooner. As an American and a person elected president of these united, yet fractured states, President Barack Obama never really thought people were serious. He had presented the legal certificate of live birth. How many of you would not have told people where to go? Heck many want to tell me where to go for having the audacity to write this article. But, President Barack Obama is cool. He does not think like your ordinary human.
Heck, people told Orville and Wilbur Wright that humans couldn’t fly. They laughed at their airplanes, mocking them as naïve and impossible. Ultimately, the Wright brothers got it right. So, who knows what might happen if President Barack Obama reads oceanography, physics, and surf boarding books. He just might create some water shoes to glide down the Potomac River.
